As we close out Teacher Appreciation Week, I reflect on three universal truths: 1. It's nearly impossible to match the magnitude of appreciation truly deserved for what teachers do. 2. The impact of great teachers on individuals stands as one of the most fundamentally transformative experiences in a person's life. 3. One week of appreciation simply isn't enough. I've observed that while there are good reasons why some choose to stay in teaching and others move on, the heart of a teacher—the reason they first stepped into a classroom—never leaves them. So as Teacher Appreciation Week winds down, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to our incredible teachers at Pathful. As the saying goes, "Once a teacher, always a teacher." Our expert (and fun loving) Pathful Inc. video team, Barry Yee and Jason Perry are going back to film in Kentucky with Everybody Counts, a state-wide initiative that supports a clear pathway to success for qualifying seniors graduating from participating Kentucky school districts, led by Christopher M Sanders. We've got TWO terrific tours lined up next week. Virtual tours are a fantastic way to show students your workspace and interest them in your industry. First, we're going to Amteck, LLC to see how commercial electrical systems are installed (MILES of wiring!) talking to everyone from an apprentice to an instructor to highlight a range of available careers. And THEN, they are visiting Spy Coast Farms who specialize in breeding and developing top quality performance horses. I mean, it's KENTUCKY! Follow Pathful Inc. for stories and pictures. Students actively engaged with these experts, asking targeted questions aligned with their career goals.
